Dr. Gast & the staff of Fort Smith Radiation Oncology recognize that our patients face many new challenges & concerns when they are diagnosed with cancer and begin new treatments & therapies.
That is why it is important to us that our patients feel comfortable throughout the therapy process. When coming to the office the patient will enter a friendly, welcoming environment, entirely decorated with handmade Amish quilts. This area includes 2 large waiting rooms, an aviary featuring several varieties of finches, a book exchange and a large puzzle table where patients make new friends while working on jigsaw puzzles. Many of our patients come back to see us long after they have finished treatments.
The "FSRO" team will do our very best to make sure your radiation therapy is a positive experience in your cancer treatment journey.
